A terrible accident between a Toyota car and a danfo occurred on the third mainland bridge today, Sunday April 30. A passenger in the danfo bus who sat in the front of the vehicle when the accident occurred is said to have lost his limb after the bus sustained a heavy crash with a red Toyota car. According to the report, RRR riders and other officials at the scene effort to recover the man's leg is in progress , while the man has been moved to Gbagada general Hospital.

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu has finally fulfilled the conditions attached to his release by a Federal High Court in Abuja. Nnamdi Kanu fulfilled the bail terms in the presence of a Jewish priest, Immanuel- El shalom, former deputy Governor of Abia state, Senator Enyinnama  Abaribe, Tochuckwu Uchendu who's a chartered Accountant in Abuja and the deputy Senate speaker Ike Ekweremadu. Justice Nyako, who presided over the trial, granted Nnamdi Kanu bail on health ground on tuesday, April 25, 2017. However, justice Nyako attached stringent Conditions that Nnamdi Kanu must meet before perfecting his bail.

R&B superstar Robert Kelly popularly known as R Kelly has been sued by Mississippi sheriff's deputy over his alleged affair with the man's wife. Hinds County Deputy Kenny Bryant claimed that he had suffered psychological and financial loss because of the singer's action. The Deputy sheriff said his wife Asia Childress confessed to having an affair with R. Kelly prior to their wedding in 2012. The deputy also stated in the lawsuit that his wife convinced him to quit his job and move to Atlanta in order for Childress' to further her career. Mr Tunji Adeleke, who is the son of the late Senator Isiaka Adeleke has made some allegations concerning the death of his father. He claimed that his father was murdered because of three things. According to the Punch report, Mr Tunji Adeleke said his father was killed because of Position, Power and Money. The son of the late senator claimed his father was not ill before his painful death and that he was killed by his colleagues because of his intention to contest for the Gubernatorial election in the state. Adeleke's view is contrary to the report of the Autopsy carried out on Senator Adeleke by the pathologist. The pathologist said: "Senator Adeleke died as a result of an overdose of painkillers intravenously administered on him ." The late senator Isiaka Adeleke died of heart attack on Sunday April 23, 2017.

A woman in Uganda, Mariam Nabtanzi Barbiye has given birth to 38 children at the age of 37. Among her children are four sets of triplets, six sets of twins, three sets of quadruples and two single births.  The woman narrated her story to Uganda daily Monitor. She said her father gave birth to 45 children, she also claimed that she married at the age of 13. "I did not know I was being married off. People came home and brought things for my father. When time came for them to leave, I thought I was escorting my aunt but when I got there, she gave me away to the man.” Dr Charles Kiggundu, a gynecologist at Mulago Hospital confirms that Mariam may have taken after her father, as her case may be genetic.
