Several scan revealed the extent of the injury he picked up at the merseyside derby. The Senegalese collided with Everton's  Leighton Baines and was taken off the pitch during the 3-1 victory.  Liverpool failed to win in 5 matches (D3, L2) in the absence of Mane due to AFCON duty. The reds season was reignited  when he returned from international duty. Klopp men will have to do better in mane's absence this time around if they really want to play Champions League football next season.

Jesse Lingard has signed a new four-year contract with Manchester United worth up to £100,000-a-week. The deal keeps Lingard at Old Trafford until June 2021 with the option of another year.
