The winner of this year's Big Brother Naija, Mercy Eke has been named the first ever brand Ambassador of Nigeria's first ever indigenous Motor company, Inosson Motors. The Imo state born reality TV star was announced as the brand Ambassador at an event that have all the pepper Dem gang housemates in attendance. The 26 years-old was also handed the keys to her brand new SUV, which was part of her prize for winning the most watched reality TV show in Africa. The Queen of Highlights became the first female to emerge winner of Big Brother Naija since it's inception in 2006. Lambo as she is fondly called by her fans is the fourth winner of the Big Brother Naija series after Katung Aduwak, Efe Ejemba and Miracle Igbokwe won in 2006, 2017 and 2018 respectively.

United States of America President Donald Trump has slammed Jussie Smollett, who was accused of staging his on attack because he was dissatisfied with his $100,000 per episode salary with Fox Studio, where the empire was filmed. President Trump took to his official Twitter handle to weign in on smollett's case after the Chicago Superintendent of Police accused the Empire actor of staging his own assaults and that his claim of being a victim of racism and homophobic attack were false. Chicago Superintendent of Police Eddie T. Johnson has accused Jussie Smollet of staging his own assault in an emotional press conference in The police chief stated that Smollet's alleged stagging of hoax attack was a "Public Stunt to promote his career." "Jussie Smollett took advantage of the pain and anger of racism to promote his career". Johnson said. "Why would and African-American man, use the sysmbolism of a noose to make false accusations?.. How can an individual who has been embraced by the city of Chicago turn around and slap everyone in the city in the face with these false claims?." he continued Johnson also charged that Jussie Smollett, who rose to stardom after his role on the hit show Empire, where he played the role of Hakim, orchestrated his own assaults because he is dissatisfied with his salary. He also accused Smollett of sending himself a hate-filled letter to the Fox studio where the hit movie was filmed.

According to instablog9ja report. Popular Nigerian Dammy Krane has allegedly been detained in United States over alledge theft of credit card and vehicles. Dammy Krane was said to have been arrested in Dade County,Miami, United States alongside another Nigerian, Ilochukwu Chukwuebuka Gabriel. The pair were charged for identity theft. Dammy Krane, who is signed to Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) was granted bail set at $17,500 (N6.8M). Dammy Krane Music group, DMW is yet to confirmed the report. Moji Olaiya's daughter Adun, has insisted that the remain of her mother should be buried in Nigeria regardless of what other people are saying. The late actress was a practising Muslim who converted from Christianity as an adult, and certain members of her family are suggesting that she be interred today according to Muslim rites. But her 20-year-old daughter, Adun is having none of that and insists that her mother’s corpse be brought back for burial in Nigeria. Although family members ushered her into a secluded room to calm her down, the grieving young lady kept repeating that she wants to see her mother. "She must be brought back,’ Adun said. ‘I don’t care what anybody says, I just want my mother’s body." It could, however, be difficult to bury her the same day as internments are costly in developed countries. In Canada where she died, funeral costs can rise as high as $15,000. Flying her body back on th e other hand could cost around half that figure.
