Gabonese Footballer collapses and dies during training session
The Football FA of Gabon disclosed that Ex Gabonese international Moise Brou Apanga collapsed and died on Wednesday, April 25, 2017 during a training session.
The FC Club 105 player was said to have succumbed to heart attack according to the Gabon football Association (FAGAFOOT).
"The country has lost a brave son who has always given his best for the Gabonese flag. All our condolence to his family and teammates." said FAGAFOOT .
Members of the gabonese national team has been paying their tribute on the death of their former player.
Sunderland midfielder Didier Ndong took to his social media page to pay tribute to Brou Apanga.
"I take this moment to to tell you that I'll be thinking about you every minute of this match rest in peace big brother . Brou Apanga a legend of Gabonese football ," Ndong wrote
The captain of the Gabon football team Pierre Emerick Aubameyang also paid tribute to his late colleague.
"We played together, we played against each other! . Anyway it was always a pleasure to be by your side. Rest in peace my brother, Moise Brou Apanga." the striker said
Apanga represented his country in the 2010 and 2012 editions of the African cup of Nations.
Moise Apanga, who is of ivory coast origin, had previously played for Brest in France and perugia and Brescia in Italy.
