Carlo Ancelotti reveals why he was sacked at Real Madrid

Napoli manager, Carlo Ancelotti has revealed that Real Madrid President Florentino Perez sacked him because of his decision to substitute Gareth Bale in the 2-1 league defeat to Valencia at the Mestalla stadium in 2015. The former Chelsea gaffer explained that he substituted Gareth Bale because the Welshman failed to set up Karim Benzema for a goal that could have put Real Madrid ahead in the game.  The incident did not go down well with Florentino Perez, who questioned the manager's decision to substituted the former Tottenham player. Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp Fined by FA

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has been fined for his comments on Referee Kelvin Friend's performance in the 1-1 draw with West Ham at the London Stadium earlier this month. The German has been fined 45,000 pounds by the Football Association after he accepted an FA charge for claiming Friend was affected by the decision to allow Mane's goal stand despite being an offside. Liverpool striker, Saido Mane's home was broken into while he was playing for the Reds against Bayern Munich on Tuesday night. The Senegalese returned to his home after playing the full 90 minutes in the 0-0 draw with the German side and found out that his properties has been stolen. Burglars raided the 26 year-old striker's home in Allerton in south Liverpool between 6pm - 11:45 pm when the former Southampton striker was on champions league duty with Liverpool at Anfield. Kelvin Prince Boateng's house robbed while he was playing for Barcelona Sane's items including Wrist watches, mobile phones and car keys were stolen. US President Donald Trump slams Jussie Smollett for insulting tens of Millions of people

United States of America President Donald Trump has slammed Jussie Smollett, who was accused of staging his on attack because he was dissatisfied with his $100,000 per episode salary with Fox Studio, where the empire was filmed. President Trump took to his official Twitter handle to weign in on smollett's case after the Chicago Superintendent of Police accused the Empire actor of staging his own assaults and that his claim of being a victim of racism and homophobic attack were false. Police chief says Smollett staged his assault because "he was dissatisfied with his salary"

Chicago Superintendent of Police Eddie T. Johnson has accused Jussie Smollet of staging his own assault in an emotional press conference in The police chief stated that Smollet's alleged stagging of hoax attack was a "Public Stunt to promote his career." "Jussie Smollett took advantage of the pain and anger of racism to promote his career". Johnson said. "Why would and African-American man, use the sysmbolism of a noose to make false accusations?.. How can an individual who has been embraced by the city of Chicago turn around and slap everyone in the city in the face with these false claims?." he continued Johnson also charged that Jussie Smollett, who rose to stardom after his role on the hit show Empire, where he played the role of Hakim, orchestrated his own assaults because he is dissatisfied with his salary. INEC releases the total numbers of PVCs collected in each states

Ahead of the rescheduled Presidential and National Elections, the Independent National Electoral commission, INEC, has reassured Nigerians of it commitment to conduct a free and fair Elections across the country. The INEC chairman Professor Mahmood Yakubu stated during a press briefing in Abuja that the commission is 100 percent ready for Saturday's poll. Yakubu used the opportunity to further remind Nigerians that the total numbers of registered voters across the federation remains 84,004,084 and the total numbers of collected Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs) as at February 11, 2019 is 72,775,502. The Honourable chairman of the commission also stated that there all large numbers of registered voters who failed to collect their PVCs. The total numbers of uncollected PVCs is 11,228,582. Cristiano Ronaldo continued to taunt Atletico Madrid supporters after Juventus lost 2-0 against the Spanish team, he raised five fingers indicating that he have five champions league titles and  Atletico have none. The Portuguese superstar was jeered throughout the match by the home fans at the Wanda Metropolitano on Wednesday night and he responded by showing five fingers to indicate the amount of Champions league he has. FG declares Friday public holiday

Kelvin Prince-Boateng's house robbed while he was playing for Barcelona

Saturday night started on a good note for Barcelona's midfielder Kelvin Prince-Boateng as he made his Laliga Santander debut against Real Valladolid at the Camp Nou, but he returned home to find out that his house as been robbed by some hoodlums.  The Ghanaian returned to his home in the northern part of Sarria district after the match and found out that his jewelries, watches as well as money worth 300,000 to 400,000 euros has stolen while he was away playing for Barcelona at the Camp Nou. Marca reported that same thing happened to Boateng's teammate Jordi Alba last year when the Spainard was playing for Barcelona against Inter Millan in Italy. The 31 years old joined Barcelona on loan from Sasuolo in this January transfer window.

INEC Chairman The Independent National Electoral commission ( INEC) has postponed the Presidential and the National Assembly elections as well as the Gubernatorial and House of Assemblies elections. The INEC chairman Prof. Mahmood Yakubu announced the new development at a press conference in INEC headquarters in Abuja . He made the announcements at about 2:30am today, Saturday, February 16, 2019. He cited challenges on logistics as the main reason for the postponement of the general elections. Some of the States where logistics challenges occur are Ekiti and Niger states. The new date for the Presidential and National Assembly election has now been scheduled for Saturday, February 23rd 2019 and the Gubernatorial and House of Assemblies elections moved to Saturday, March 9th, 2019. INEC Chairman Prof. Mahmood Yakubu Ahead of tomorrow's Presidential and National Assembly elections, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, released seven valid voting procedures that must be followed by the electorates. The seven voting procedures are outlined on the electoral body's website. The steps as outlined by INEC are as follows. STEP 1: Upon arrival at the Polling units, join the queue and present yourself to INEC officer APO111, at the polling unit who will whether you are at the correct polling unit and check if the photograph on the PVC matches your face. If satisfied He/she will direct you to the next INEC official (APO1). STEP 2: The official (APO1) will request for your PVC to confirm that your card is genuine and your details, using the smart card reader. He/she will ask you to place your finger on the card reader to confirm that the PVC belongs to you by ascertaining, the card reader will contains the name, photograph and finger pri...

The body responsible for the conduct of free and fair elections has released the numbers of registered voters in each states that make up the federation. INEC chairman Prof. Mahmood Yakubu has made it clear that the total numbers of  registered voters is 84,004,084. According to INEC, Lagos state has the highest numbers of registered voters with 6,570,291 eligible voters while Ekiti state has the lowest numbers of registered voters with 909,967 eligible electorates. The mouthwatering Presidential election and the National Assembly elections will take place on Saturday,16th of February 2019 while the Gubernatorial and House of Assembly elections will take place on the 2nd of March.
