BREAKING NEWS: INEC Reschedules 2019 General Elections

The Independent National Electoral commission ( INEC) has postponed the Presidential and the National Assembly elections as well as the Gubernatorial and House of Assemblies elections.

The INEC chairman Prof. Mahmood Yakubu announced the new development at a press conference in INEC headquarters in Abuja .

He made the announcements at about 2:30am today, Saturday, February 16, 2019.

He cited challenges on logistics as the main reason for the postponement of the general elections. Some of the States where logistics challenges occur are Ekiti and Niger states.

The new date for the Presidential and National Assembly election has now been scheduled for Saturday, February 23rd 2019 and the Gubernatorial and House of Assemblies elections moved to Saturday, March 9th, 2019.

'There is no going back, am leaving Real Madrid' - Ronaldo told his international team-mates on friday

Cristiano Ronaldo has told his international team-mates that he is going to leave Real Madrid this summer and nothing can make him change his decision according to Madrid based publication Marca . The 32 year-old is very upset that he is currently facing proceedings over a claim that he defrauded the Spanish tax authorities 14.7 million euros. Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has confirmed that his girlfriend Georgina Rodriquez is pregnant with his fourth child. The Portuguese skipper, who recently welcomed a set of twins (Eva and Mateo), has revealed to EL Mundo LOC's Magazine that he will become a father again. He also has a seven year-old son, cristiano Junior, who was also born by a surrogate mother. "Am happy for what is coming." the 32 year-old told the famous Spanish sport magazine.
