Israel Adesanya is fast becoming a household name in the Ultimate Fighting Championship, which is popularly known as UFC234. He has receives numerous Awards and people loves him for his skills. He won the UFC Breakthrough of the year award in 2018.

HE WAS BORN IN LAGOS
Israel was born in Lagos, Nigeria on the 22nd of July 1989, his heritage has been traced to Yoruba tribe. He was a pupil of Chrisland school in Opebi, Ikeja, he also attended Bells Secondary school in Ota, Ogun state. He moved to Rotorua in New Zealand at the age of 13, he finished his college education at the Rotorua High School.
HIS CAREER
When he was in Nigeria, he trained taekwondo briefly but his mother stopped him after he broke his arm during the training. After his high school education, he moved to Auckland, where he began kick-boxing training at the city kick-boxing training academy.
Adesanya started as a boxer, his professional boxing record stands at 5 wins, 1 draw and 1 defeat, and 1 win by knockout, he switched to kick-boxing, where he won all his 32 amateur bouts. His professional kick boxing records stand as 75 wins, 48 of those wins are by KO, 2 are won by decisions, he was defeated 5 times.
In the space five and the half years, the Nigerian amassed 11-0 record in his mixed martial art career before he was signed by Ultimate Fighting Championship in December 2017. He made his UFC debut in February 2018. His Ufc record stand at (M 15 - W 15 - KO - 13 L - 0). His next match is against UFC legend Anderson Silva, the match has been tagged the biggest test of Israel's career.
HIS NICKNAME
Israel's nickname is Last Stylebender. he said he coined the nickname from his favorite TV show, Avatar.
