Zidane becomes the fourth most successful coach in the history of Real Madrid

Real Madrid head coach Zinedine Zidane has officially become the fourth most successful coach in the history of Los Blancos following his team latest achievement in the UEFA Super Cup.

The former midfielder has won six trophies in less than two years into his coaching career, making him the fourth most successful gaffer in Real Madrid's history.

The 45 year-old, who took over from Rafa Banitez in January 2015, has won two UEFA Champions League, two UEFA Super Cup, one La Liga title and a club World Cup.
The Frenchman could match Vincente Del Bosque's record of seven titles if they can lift the club World Cup later this year.

Zidane is just two trophies away from equalling Luis Molowny's achievements and he is further behind Miguel Munoz, who is the most successful coach in the history of Real Madrid with 14 trophies.

He also becomes the second coach to win the European super cup in two consecutive seasons, equalling Arrigo Sacchi's feat with AC Milan in 1990.
