Gareth Barry set to join West Bromwich Albion

Everton midfielder Gareth Barry is set to join West Bromwich Albion on a one year deal.

West Brom manager Tony Pulis want the former Aston Villa player to replace Darren Fletcher, who left for Stoke city.

The former Manchester City midfielder will reportedly sign a one year deal with the Hawthorns with an option of a further year.

The move will end his four years stay with the Merseyside club, where he has played 155 matches.

The 36 year old former England international 628 premier league appearances is only second to Ryan Giggs record of 632.
