"Ronaldo knows we are with him to the death"- says Marcelo at the first press conference of the season


Real Madrid left back Marcelo has revealed that Los Blancos players have got the Portuguese skipper's back and that the squad are more United than ever.

Although, the Brazilian has not spoken with the Portuguese forward over a potential move away from the Spanish capital but he insist that his colleagues are with him to death.

When asked about the rumors linking Cristiano away from the Bernabau, Marcelo said: "I haven't spoken to Ronaldo about the subject but he knows his teammates are with him to the death."

"When he arrives we can then talk about him and see how he is."

The Brazilian also praised Real Madrid new signing, Theo Hernandez and vowed to work hard do everything to play despite the competition for the left back spot.

"Ever since I arrived I have had to fight and to do everything to be able to play, even if there wasn't another left-back.

"Theo is very young and he's going to help Real Madrid alot. He has my total confidence and that of the coaches."

'There is no going back, am leaving Real Madrid' - Ronaldo told his international team-mates on friday

Cristiano Ronaldo has told his international team-mates that he is going to leave Real Madrid this summer and nothing can make him change his decision according to Madrid based publication Marca . Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has confirmed that his girlfriend Georgina Rodriquez is pregnant with his fourth child. The Portuguese skipper, who recently welcomed a set of twins (Eva and Mateo), has revealed to EL Mundo LOC's Magazine that he will become a father again. He also has a seven year-old son, cristiano Junior, who was also born by a surrogate mother. "Am happy for what is coming." the 32 year-old told the famous Spanish sport magazine.
