I will battle with all of them for the top awards - Cristiano Ronaldo


As he prepare for the start of the new season, Cristiano Ronaldo told ESPN in China that he will fight with other top players for top honours.

The Real Madrid superstar revealed that the rivalry between him and other top players like Messi, Higuain and Lewandowski are what motivates him to pushed himself to the limit.

"To mention one [player] is hard, but the level that I am is like in other sports: Formula One, NBA...The best players always follow the best players,"

"They want to be in the top of the game because the other ones are there. You cannot rest, because the other ones will pass you.

"Of course we fight with everyone, with Neymar, with Messi, Lewandowski, Higuain, with the best players in the world. This is not 'FIGHTING' but it's healthy. We fight to be the best.

The Portuguese skipper is on the verge of winning his fifth ballon d'or title of his successful career come January next year after helping Real Madrid to the league and Champions League titles last season.

'There is no going back, am leaving Real Madrid' - Ronaldo told his international team-mates on friday

Cristiano Ronaldo has told his international team-mates that he is going to leave Real Madrid this summer and nothing can make him change his decision according to Madrid based publication Marca . Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has confirmed that his girlfriend Georgina Rodriquez is pregnant with his fourth child. The Portuguese skipper, who recently welcomed a set of twins (Eva and Mateo), has revealed to EL Mundo LOC's Magazine that he will become a father again. He also has a seven year-old son, cristiano Junior, who was also born by a surrogate mother. "Am happy for what is coming." the 32 year-old told the famous Spanish sport magazine. Rodriquez, 22, who is a spanish model, started dating the four-time ball on d'or winner in November last year.
