Zidane leaves Real Madrid
Real Madrid youth Academy graduate Enzo Fernandez Zidane has penned a five-year deal for an undisclosed fee with Spanish top division side, Deportivo Alaves.
The deal include a buyback clause, as always the case when a youth Academy graduate or a young player leaves Los Blancos. Deportivo Alaves will present the midfielder to their fans next week.
Enzo Fernandez is the first born of Real Madrid head coach Zinedine Zidane, he has been in Real Madrid youth Academy since 2004. He made his official first-team debut against Cultural Leonesa in the Copa del Rey, scoring from the edge of the penalty area as Real Madrid won 6-1 at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The 22 year-old, who was promoted to Real Madrid Castilla in 2015, played over 70 matches for Real Madrid second team, scoring 7 goals and provided 15 goals.
The Alaves midfielder has represented Spain and France at the U-15 and U-19 level respectively. He is eligible to play for France or Spain as well as Algeria, where his grandfather came from at the senior level.
