Zidane and Ramos phoned Cristiano, as they bid to convince him to stay at Real Madrid


Real Madrid head coach Zinedine Zidane has called his embattled superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, the Frenchman begged the Portuguese captain not to leave the Spanish capital, according to Madrid Based Newspaper Marca.

Cristiano Ronaldo was reportedly angry with the way the media outlets portrayed him over a claim that he defrauded
the Spanish tax authorities. The Portuguese talisman told his international team-mates on friday that he is leaving Real Madrid and nothing can change his decison.

Zinedine Zidane, who knows the value and important of the Real Madrid forward put a call across to him and begged him not to leave the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, after he threatened to leave the Real Madrid.

Marca claimed that the Real Madrid boss said to his best player: "We need you Cris." as he try to convinced Ronaldo to stay. Marca  also claimed that the Frenchman told Ronaldo to stay and help his side win many trophies and that they needed his winning mentality and goals.

Cristiano's team-mate and Real Madrid skipper Sergio Ramos, who was also want to leave the Spanish Champions in 2015, phoned him in a bid to convince him to stay at the club.

According to Sun, the 32 year-old has told his agent Jorge Mendes to do everything he can to make him return back to Manchester United this summer.

Cristiano Ronaldo, who is currently playing for his country at the ongoing Confederation cup in Russia, helped Real Madrid to the league and Champions League double last season, scoring 42 goals in 46 appearances in all competitions.
