Read Mo Salah's First Interview as a Liverpool player
Egyptian winger Mohammed Salah becomes the most expensive player in Liverpool Football club's history after he joined The Reds from Italian Seria A side, AS Roma for a record deal worth 39 million euros.
Salah's deal surpassed Liverpool's previous record purchased of £35million for Andy Carroll from Newcastle United in 2011. The Egyptian has been assigned the number 11 shirt after it was vacated by Roberto Firmino, who will now wear the number 9 Jersey.
In his first interview as a Liverpool player, Salah told Liverpoolfc.com that he had a point to prove after his unsuccessful spell in England with Chelsea where he made just 19 appearances.
His words: "yea I always.Even if I see myself playing well in one thing, I try to do it better and better. "I always think about the small details because I need to improve more and more."
"Am very excited to be here. I'm very happy." he added
"I will give 100% and give everything for the club.i really want to win something for this club."
'We have a great team and very good players. I was watching the game last year and everyone was giving 100 percent to win something.'
'Everyone can see the coach gives everything. I hope to see that together we can give everything to win something for the club, for the supporters and for us.'
Salah said he is returning to the Premier League as a complete diffirent player to the one who had a difficult spell in England with Chelsea in 2015.
His words: '100 percent, Yes! Everything has improved.Even my personality was different, I was a kid - I was 20 or 21. Now am four years older, everything is different. I have a lot of experience in three clubs: I was at Chelsea then florentina and then Roma. I have good experience .'
The 25 year-old scored 19 goals and provided 12 assists in 41 appearances in all competitions for Roma last season, as he helped the Italian side to a second place finish in the league.
