Nigeria Striker signs for Everton


Nigerian Striker, Henry Onyekuru has penned a five year deal with Premier League side, Everton after he successfully passed his medical at Everton's Finch Farm training ground on monday.

According to the report, A source close to the talented forward disclosed to ScoreNigeria.com.ng that the Nigerian International has signed a five-year deal with the Merseyside club.

Top European clubs such as Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund, OG Nice, Atletico de Madrid, West Ham United, Paris Saint-Germainand Swansea are all interested in the player but he has chosen to play for the Toffes.

The 20 year-old has been sent on loan to Anderlecht, where he will be able to continue his development and play in the UEFA Champions league. Onyekuru will arrived at Everton in July 2018.

The former Eupen striker was the the joint highest goal-scorer in the Belgian top flight league last season with 22 goals in 38 appearances. In total, Onyekuru scored 28 goals in 57 appearances in all competitions in his two year spell with the Belgian first division side

Onyekuru made his international debut in the 3-0 victory against Togo on the 1st of June, 2017.
