Morata on the verge of Man Utd move
Newly-Wed Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata is edging closer to Manchester United move, the only obstacle is that both Real Madrid and Manchester United are still to reach an agreement for the price of the ex Juventus forward.
AS reports that the only thing missing is for the two clubs to reach final agreement for the fee of the Spanish international. Real Madrid reportedly demanded 80 to 90 million euro while Manchester United are only willing to pay 70 million euro for the 24 year-old.
Real Madrid were said to have put forward the reasons why they are demanding higher fee for their youth graduate. Los Blancos claimed Morata is a regular player in the Spanish national team, in addition to that, he has a lot of years ahead of him.
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho, who promoted the Real Madrid youth product to the first team in 2010, want Morata to spearhead his attack for the 2017/18 season.
Morata has made up his mind to move away from the Santiago Bernabeu after he struggled to make the starting line-up despite scoring more than Benzema, who is preferred by Zinedine Zidane.
Morata found the back of the net 20 times in 43 appearances as Real Madrid cruised to the League and Champions League titles in 2016/17 season.
