Mario Balotelli extends Nice Contract


Former Intarnationaziole and AC Millan Striker Mario Balotelli has signed a new one-year deal with the French Ligue side, OG Nice. The Italian international took a pay cut to continue at the Club he joined for free last summer.

The French Ligue 1 side announced the news on their official website. In the statement announcing Balotelli's new contract, Nice praised the ex Manchester city forward for signing a new contract with them despite a pay-cut.


The club statement: 'We are proud to have convinced the Superstar to join us last year and to have seen him flourish on and off the pitch.'

'The Italian international has made a considerable financial efforts to continue his Nice adventure, as he always intended during this off-season, following the football aspect and and the choice of his heart.'

Balotelli, who was released by Liverpool,  joined OG Nice for free last season and found the back of the net on17 occasions in 28 appearances as the club finished third in the French ligue 1.
