Marcelo threatens to leave if Cristiano exits Real Madrid
Real Madrid left back Marcelo Vieira has threatened to leave the Spanish Champions if his friend and team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo move away from the Club.
A Spanish news media Don Balon reports that the Brazilian international has told Real Madrid president, Florentino Perez that his destiny at the club is linked to that of the Portuguese captain.
Marcelo, who knows the importance of the four-time Ballon'D'or winner in the dressing room and on the pitch of play, want Florentino Perez to do everything possible to make sure his close friend does not depart Madrid.
According to the reports, Marcelo, who joined the club in 2007, does not even want to hear about the possibility of playing next season without the club's talisman Cristiano Ronaldo.
The pair helped Real Madrid finished the season in a dramatic fashion in which they won their first league tittle in five years and became the first team to retain the Champions league.
