Former Chelsea player believes the Premier League is the ideal place for Cristiano


Former Chelsea and Liverpool midfielder Raul Miereles told sky sport that the Premier League is the perfect place for Cristiano Ronaldo.

Spanish Government reportedly accused Cristiano Ronaldo of evading more than14 million euros in taxes. A Bola reports that the Real Madrid superstar threatened to depart the Spanish Champions if he's convicted of the accusations.

Miereles, who won the Champions league with Chelsea in 2012, believes that the premier league is the idea place for his former Portuguese team-mate.

He said: "Certainly, he has triumphed before in England and if he is to leave Real Madrid then I feel the premier league is the best place for him."

"He has played for United and could go back there. He could also play for Chelsea. I'm not sure, but he could play with any premier league side and be a success."

The former Fenerbache midfielder was capped 73 times by the Selecao (Portugal National team). He also made over 60 premier league appearances for Chelsea and Liverpool.

Cristiano Ronaldo has told his international team-mates that he is going to leave Real Madrid this summer and nothing can make him change his decision according to Madrid based publication Marca . Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has confirmed that his girlfriend Georgina Rodriquez is pregnant with his fourth child.
