Sulley Muntari Walks off the pitch after his complaints about racist abuse was met with a yellow card


Former Ghana Midfielder Sulley Muntari walked off the pitch after the referee gave him a yellow card for an alleged racist abuse during Pescara against Cagliari match on Sunday, April 30.

The midfielder was said to have angrily confronted the cagliari faithfuls. The former Ac Millan player was said to have angrily shouted "This is my colour".

The former Inter Millan midfielder was shown a yellow card in the 89th minutes when he protested for being racially abused by the Caglairi fans to the match officials .

While leaving the pitch in frustration the 32 years old addressed some of the fans and showed them his hand and shouted " This is my colour".


Pescara head coach Zeman Zdenek said Muntari was right to complain but he shouldn't have left the pitch.

The midfielder was booked for the second time, then sent off for walking off the pitch voluntarily.
 The former Pompey midfielder could face disciplinary committee for his action.
