Ronaldo and Pepe in Portugal squad for Confederation Cup


Real Madrid duo Cristiano Ronaldo and Kleper Pepe has been included in the portugal Squad for the Confederation cup, which will be held in Russia.

The World Cup warm- up mini tournament will run from June 17 to July 2. Barcelona Midfielder Andre Gomes was also included in th squad. 

Portugal Coach Fernando Santos, disclosed that the 24 man squad will meet ahead of the tournament on the 29th of May, Cristiano Ronaldo and Pepe will join later due to their involvement in the Uefa Champions League Final on Saturday, June 3.

Defenders: Bruno Alves (Cagliari), Cédric (Southampton), Eliseu (Benfica), José Fonte (West Ham), Luis Neto (Zenit), Nelson Semedo (Benfica), Pepe (Real Madrid), Raphael Guerreiro (Dortmund).
Midfielders: Adrien Silva (Sporting), André Gomes (Barcelona), Danilo Pereira (Porto), João Mário (Inter), João Moutinho (Monaco), Pizzi (Benfica), William Carvalho (Sporting).
Forwards: André Silva (Porto), Bernardo Silva (Monaco), Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid), Gelson Martins (Sporting), Nani (Valencia), Ricardo Quaresma (Besiktas).
