Kane claims PFA Fans' Premier League Player of the Season award


Tottenham striker Harry Kane has been named PFA fans' premier league player of the year. The Golden boot winner beat off competition from title winning duo, N'golo Kante and Eden Hazard to claim the award.

Kane, who retained his Golden boot award scored 29 premier league goals and provided seven assists as Tottenham finished above Arsenal in the premier league for the first time.

The English striker denied N'golo Kante his sixth award this season, Kante won the PFA, Premier League  and FWA Player of the year accolades. The Chelsea midfielder also won the best French player in foreign land award as well as London player of the year award.

The England and Tottenham hotspurs goal poacher finished top of the public poll with 16,378 votes. Kante finished second with 13,515 votes while Eden Hazard polled 8,412 votes to finish third.
