Dutch football magazine named Messi as the greatest player of all time, Cristiano Ronaldo not even on the top five


Prestigious Dutch magazine, Voetbal, has named Messi as the greatest football player of all time. The popular Dutch magazine put the Barcelona ace ahead of Diego Maradona, Johan cruyff and Pele.

Surprisingly, Real Madrid and Portugal all time highest goal-scorer Cristiano Ronaldo did not feature on the top five of Voetbal's ranking of 100 top football players of all time.

According to Voetbal, Messi is the greatest player of all time, Diego Maradona, who won the 1986 world Cup with Argentina was second on the list, Dutch and Barcelona legend Johan Cruyff occupied the third position, Brazil legend Pele was ranked as the fourth greatest while Real Madrid's Alfredo Di Stefano make up the top five in their ranking.

Cristiano Ronaldo, who could equal Lionel Messi's five ballon d'or win next year, after helping Real Madrid to league and Champions League titles last, a feat that has not happened since1958, didn't even make the top five in Voetbal's ranking.

Voetbal international is a prestigious football magazine in Holland, it was established in 1962.

'There is no going back, am leaving Real Madrid' - Ronaldo told his international team-mates on friday

Cristiano Ronaldo has told his international team-mates that he is going to leave Real Madrid this summer and nothing can make him change his decision according to Madrid based publication Marca . Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has confirmed that his girlfriend Georgina Rodriquez is pregnant with his fourth child. The Portuguese skipper, who recently welcomed a set of twins (Eva and Mateo), has revealed to EL Mundo LOC's Magazine that he will become a father again.
